Another week is almost half over and as I sit here contemplating about what to write, I remember how sweet this day was. I went to  a coffee shop this morning and I headed towards the door and this young man held the door open for me. It was a very unexpected gesture as I was kinda in a position where I could have opened it for him. I smiled really big, because, you know what!? He made my day!!! I headed to work with a big smile! I felt special and blessed!!! I showed more kindness today then I have in past days, because someone had blessed me!! Not that this is something to live by, but it works!! When you smile on someone, they will keep it going!!

I think I finally realized what true happiness is...  But first let me start from the beginning...I guess for a long time I thought my happiness was measured by much money I had, how many friends and activities I could meet and enjoy in one week, and as one could say, how I felt on any given day. But happiness is so much more than that to me. It's finding contentment and confidence in my God, being thankful for every blessing that comes from His hand, and knowing, deep inside, that He is really all I need. And also it comes in realizing that happiness can only come from the source of true joy. So! In case anyone missed it, I am supremely happy, and it's not a feeling that will pass, but instead, its a deep seated hope that I can hold onto today, tomorrow, always.

 I had a great day of hanging out with a friend, going for a walk, hanging out at home, relaxing, talking...then went to lunch with a different friend...was very nice to just rest all day and do nothing but talk and have fun! And... then.... I watched a lot of tv shows...haha. fun day!

Hey there world! I know that no one is reading this, but that's ok... I wanna say something anyways! I awoke this morning feeling jubilant! Why? Because I had a new day ahead of me! To live, breath, rejoice,cry, love, make choices, eat, and best of all, to be thankful to God for another day! I have a full and happy life, abundant with many blessings.
